The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate - Pilot

Also known as the pilot, the first episode of friends, introduces to us, a gang of friends, Monica Gellar, Phoebe Buffay, Joe Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Ross Geller, Monica’s older brother at the Central Perk coffee house, their favorite hangout place. Rachel Green, a school friend of Monica, joins them in a wedding dress and explains them why she had left her fiancé at the altar and since she had no one in the city whom she could go except Monica, who is dating the Wine guy a colleague of hers, she came looking for her. They eventually agree that she moves in with Monica.

In this episode, Ross, who had a crush on Rachel in high school, has recently been divorced and his lesbian ex-wife has left their apartment with all furniture and material possessions leaving him quite upset.
Rachel, who has been living on her parent’s till now, [She goes looking for a job and after failing in 12 interviews, comes to the coffee shop with shopping bags, purchases from her dad’s credit card] is now motivated by her friends, to cut up her credit cards and look for a job, which she finds in the Central Perk café.
Ross also confesses later to Rachel, that he had a huge crush on her in high school, to which Rachel claims that she knew about it.
